Sunday School

Easter Egg Hunt

Our little Johnny wasn’t feeling well on hunt day. We surprised him with eggs hidden in our class room. He got to have fun as well. We learned a lot about Jesus, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. The kids and I had fun making crafts and listening to stories about the Easter Season. We made beautiful Mother’s Day gifts for Mom the first Sunday in May. Join us to celebrate the final day of Sunday School and Confirmation classes for the year with a cookout on June 4.

April Update

In person Sunday School has started and has been a blast. The first week we got to know each other and talked about Jesus and prayer. The second week we learned how St. Patrick taught the Holy Trinity using a shamrock. The 3rd week we watched a Holy Moly video about how EVERYONE can come to Jesus. Even children! These kids are the best. I’m so blessed to be able to work with them. They are very good painters! In person Sunday school schedule for the rest of the year: April 2nd, April 16th, none April 30, May 7, May 21 at 11:30 am in Sunday School room. Maybe something fun June 4th. Let me talk to Pastor.

How to: Find a Bible Verse Video

Hello parents!

As promised, here is the link students should use to practice looking for readings in the Bible. Like this one you can find more. I invite you to practice with them at home.

God’s Blessings to all,

Pr. Aida

Hello Sunday School families!

We made it through Christmas!  I hope you all enjoyed those 4 fun Christmas Season lessons.  I know I sure did!  Sophia, my granddaughter, helped me out with Magi lesson and she knew more than I did!

Regular lessons have started up.  Remember that if you bring in the craft portion of your lesson to me at the family MNM (Monday Night Ministry) you get to pick from the prize box!  One prize for each craft brought in.  I’m working on getting more prizes for the box. If you can’t make it on a Monday night, have Mom or Dad send me a picture of you holding it.  I’ll make sure to get you a prize!

I’m also still waiting. . . Does anyone know who Mary’s cousin Elizabeth was pregnant with at the same time as Mary was pregnant with Jesus?

Blessings to you all and all of your family and friends.

Mary Lehl
